There is a free business information service based at Chatham Community Hub. This service is for people at all stages of business development, from starting up a business to expanding it.

The resources below are available to access at Chatham Community Hub free of charge. They are not available from computers outside of Chatham library.

Complete Business Reference Advisor (COBRA)

Cobra logoCOBRA is a specialised website giving advice for startups in a wide range of trades, businesses and professions. You can also access information fact sheets on hundreds of business subjects, UK market synopses and local area profiles.  This online resource is available at Chatham Community Hub, Gillingham Library, Rainham Library, Rochester Community Hub and Strood Library. Please ask a member of staff if you would like access in these buildings.

The Economist online

The Economist logoThe Economist online is a premier source for the analysis of global business and current affairs. It includes the full editorial from The Economist's print edition. The site also features a growing range of unique web-only content. Visitors to the site absorb a daily diet of news, analysis, columns, blogs and multimedia, while contributing to the ongoing debates and discussions themselves. The site also features a suite of research tools and data for subscribers, including free access to a searchable archive, as well as The Economist audio edition.

Medway Libraries have a single user licence for this resource, available only at Chatham Community Hub.
