Disability sport

Medway is a great place to take part in a wide variety of disability sports.

Wheelchair rugby league action from the England v France test match held at Medway Park Medway Council is proud of its record of bringing major disability sports events to Medway, to establish new clubs and disability sections in existing clubs and to promote all the opportunities available in disability sport.

We hold regular disability sports taster days and sessions to highlight the range of disability sports available to residents and help clubs attract new members.Disability Youth Games image 2013

Medway Park has hosted international and national disability events in wheelchair rugby, wheelchair rugby league and sitting volleyball, as well as the 2012 British Transplant Games, demonstrating Medway's ability to hold large-scale disability sports events and the large public support for disability sport in the area.

Details of clubs and groups are listed below, or alternatively if you want to get involved you can contact Medway Sport or email medwaysport@medway.gov.uk
