Medway table tennis rising star to attend England training camp
|
Harry Lumb is the latest future sporting star from Medway. Harry, aged 12, is currently ranked third in the country for table tennis with the English Table Tennis Association. Harry has been selected to attend an English training camp at Lilleshall at the end of May. This is just the latest achievement in Harry's already impressive career. He has also been invited to attend the Cadet Masters, which is an elite event for the top cadet players in the country. Harry, who not only represents the Kent County junior squad and the South East region squad, attended the national trials last month. |

Locally, Harry is Medway League and Medway Schools champion at under 13 level, and Medway League under 18 champion, competing against boys six years older than him. Harry is also the Kent Schools under 13 runner up. Harry, who attends Chatham Grammar School for Boys, competes for the Howard Table Tennis Club and trains at the Howard Table Tennis Centre, Medway's purpose-built table tennis centre and part of our bid to host a pre-Games training camp |
