Young star claims top scalps

Harry Lumb, Medway’s promising table tennis star, was in action at the national championships last weekend, 2 and 3 June. Harry, who attends Chatham Grammar School for boys, is currently ranked third in the country in his age group and went in to the championships with high hopes. Harry beat the first and third seeds on his way to the final where he narrowly lost, finishing runner-up Harry recently attended an England training camp at Lilleshall and is hoping to represent England in competition later this year. |

Harry, the current Medway schools champion, trains at the Howard Table Tennis Centre, Medway’s purpose-built table tennis centre and part of our bid to host a pre-Games training camp.
