The games were organised by Medway's sports development team who were instrumental in enabling every child to take part in competitive sport while in a friendly environment.

The games were made possible thanks to a successful application to Medway’s Youth Opportunities Fund from Bradfields school pupil, Lee Monk.

Lee, from Rochester applied to the fund so that Medway could hold its first ever Disability Youth Games.

The games were a great success and will feature on Medway's sporting calendar again next year.
