HSBC are in the swing of winning, as they showed at the 2008 Medway Business Games golf event.
The HSBC trio of Jamie Thilthorpe, Tony Burt and Simon Beard were victorious in tough conditions at the Deangate Ridge Golf Complex in Hoo. Scores of 37 points from Simon and 30 points from Jamie, both playing from three quarters of their handicap gave HSBC a winning score of 67 stableford points.
Medway Council were the nearest challengers with 63 points.
HSBC's win, its second of the Business Games series, extends its lead at the top of the Business Games to six points with one event left to go. The HSBC netball team will be looking to secure the points they need when they take to the court on Friday, 11 July.
For Medway Council, they go in to the final event knowing nothing less than a win will be enough to secure the title.
Can HSBC take the crown of Medway Business Games champions? I wouldn't bank on it.
