Medway Council, in partnership with Business Link Kent, is holding a free, half-day workshop for businesses that want to get involved in the London 2012 Olympics. The workshop, being held at St George's Centre on Wednesday, 5 November 2008, will provide businesses of all sizes with information and advice on how and where to register their interest in the London 2012 supply chains. |

The workshop will feature:
an overview of the Olympics and the business opportunities they create;
an overview of CompeteFor and how to register your business;
a run-through of the mandatory requirements;
a detailed explanation of how companies are shortlisted;
a presentation by Medway Council's Procurement team;
a presentation on the south-east business portal;
a question and answer session.
