More than 100 companies signed up for free London 2012 business event

More than 100 companies from across Medway and the south-east will be attending the Are You Fit2Supply London 2012 business event on Wednesday, 5 November 2008 at the St George's Centre, Chatham. The free event, organised by Medway Council and Business Link Kent, is open to businesses of all sizes who want to find out the latest about getting involved in the London 2012 supply chains. |

The workshop will feature:
an overview of the Olympics and the business opportunities they create;
an overview of CompeteFor and how to register your business;
a run-through of the mandatory requirements;
a detailed explanation of how companies are shortlisted;
a presentation by Medway Council's Procurement team;
a presentation on the south-east business portal;
a question and answer session.
