30 minutes from glory
Medway is situated in the Thames Gateway and is the largest conurbation in the south-east outside London, with a population of more than 250,000.
From 2009 Medway will be only 30 minutes by train from Olympic Park in Stratford.
Passengers will be able to join a train at Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester or Strood stations and travel on a new line to Ebbsfleet. At Ebbsfleet the train will pick up the new high speed line and travel on to Stratford in 11 minutes. It is estimated the overall journey will take around 30 minutes.
Medway has excellent national and international transport links by road, rail and air.
