Medway Park Judo Centre

The judo centre, the first phase of the ambitious Medway Park project, encapsulates the ethos of Medway Park – a sporting centre of excellence with the needs of the community at its heart.

The completed dojo has set the standard in quality for the other facilities scheduled for completion in 2010.

The centre's two permanent mats are international standard and it has been accredited by London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) as an official pre-Games training camp venue. Work has now begun to integrate it in to British Judo Association’s elite performance structure.

This will ensure the best judo players in the country and the world can visit the centre and benefit from the facilities.

Medway Park Judo Club, formally known as Rainham Judo Club, has moved in to the centre and is becoming an integral part of Medway Park. A full story on the opening of the centre is available in our news pages.
