Adam divides his time between high school in America and at home in Gillingham. Despite spending a lot of time stateside, Adam still considers Medway home.

Adam started playing competitive basketball at the age of nine. He was spotted by the London Towers Junior Basketball club and within a few years had played for England.

During Adam’s career with London Towers, his team were winners or runner-up in a League, Cup or Championship in every season. Adam is immeasurably grateful for the their coaching, support and encouragement.

Adam was selected at 12 years old to captain his Kent Under-13 squad. This was shortly followed by an Under-14 England selection. He has represented his country ever since and competed in the 2006 European Championships in Sibiu, Romania.

At 15 years old, Adam had to make possibly the biggest decision of his life: home or America? Adam bravely took the opportunity to achieve his dream of playing in the NBA by moving to America, knowing that, even with regular telephone calls and emails, it would not be the same as being back home.

Adam is currently in his second year at The Governors Academy near Boston, Massachusetts. As a sophomore, he is studying hard for his Scholastic Assessment Tests (SATs) in preparation for next year's college recruitment.

He plays for the Varsity school team and had a very successful first season, topping the team statistics. Adam also plays for the Amateur Athletic Union team (AAU) and Team Boston Elite, which won the State Championship in 2006.

Adam’s sporting heroes are Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and of course Michael Jordan. One day he hopes to follow them and play in the NBA.
