Our Medway 2012
Our Medway 2012 has been especially devised by Medway education advisors Joy Gundry and Andrew Webster to link initiatives developed as part of Medway 2012 into a cross-curricular project incorporating all major academic subjects.
Every primary school in Medway will take part in Our Medway 2012 by the time the London Games start.
Joy and Andrew have identified three key objectives for the project:
to support Medway in becoming a centre of learning and opportunity for young people;
to inspire young people to take an active interest in sport;
to inspire young people to value and profitably engage with their local services, environment and heritage.
The project is being launched on 17 September 2008 to coincide with Paralympic Handover Day
