Medway Disability Youth Games
Dame Tanni Grey Thomson and Danny Crates are patrons of the Medway Disability Youth Games.
The games are made up of two events. The winter event enables pupils to compete in skiing. The summer event includes archery, athletics, boccia, cricket and football.
The Disability Youth Games were piloted in 2007 following a successful application to Medway’s Youth Opportunities Fund from Bradfields school pupil, Lee Monk. Following a successful introduction it is hoped that the games will grow over the coming years.
