Help in finding a placement
Are you struggling to find a work experience placement? Look no further. Medway Education Business Partnership (MEBP) specialises in offering work experience placements for young people in Medway.
Firstly, you will need to contact the Work Related Learning Manager in your school. A list of contact details can be found on the MEBP website (www.mebp.org/students.asp).
MEBP will work with the school to put you in touch with employers in the area, taking the stress out of organising your own placement so you can concentrate on soaking up the world of work.
The partnership will help you prepare for your time at work so that you can really get the most out of your placement. You’ll be given your own work experience diary and key skills record, so keeping track of what you have done will be a doddle.
There will also be the opportunity for debriefing, where you can focus on what you have learnt and how this will help you in your studies and when you get a job.
