Knowing what to do
Universities take onboard new students each and every year so they’re pretty well organised. Most will send you an induction pack in the post or will give this to you when you arrive. This will tell you everything you need to know, so read it carefully! Make sure you fill in any forms that need to be completed. The pack will tell you about the accommodation you’ve been allocated (if you’re living in halls), how much the rent is and when and where you have to pay for this. There will be other information which may be specific to your university.
