Crabs and scabies
What are the symptoms?
Crabs, also known as pubic lice, are visible to the naked eye and live and breed in areas of the body where there is hair. Scabies is caused by a female mite laying her eggs beneath the skin surface. Parasites are easily treated with the application of lotions and shampoos available over the counter at most chemists without prescription. Contaminated clothing should be appropriately laundered.
