Pre Amp III
Pre Amp III is the place to go if you and your friends want to check out some of the local musical talent. Pre Amp III is on every month and with tickets at only £4 it’s a cheap regular night out for all!
Its great to hear local bands such as Just Purple, Left of the Right side, Rough Cut Diamond and Duct Tape.....there’s something for everyone.
The main reason we love it is it feels safe!
Pre Amp III is at Chatham Grammar School for Boys on Maidstone Road.
Ski Centre
No – you don’t have to have a ski or snowboard lesson. You can just drop in here without booking and have a go at sno-tubing (riding down the slope in a kind of rubber ring – great fun in groups) or tobogganing on the Cresta Run which is over half a kilometre long!!
Great activity for about £5
It's on Capstone Road by Capstone Country Park.
SoundHole
SoundHole usually has eight bands playing per night ranging from ska to heavy metal. It's a great place to go with friends to have a laugh, enjoy the local musical talent and meet new people - sometimes even making friends with the bands!
Its a really cheap night out too as its only a pound to get in and food and drink is reasonably priced! There is a strict no alcohol or smoking rule.
How to get there: it's on Christmas Lane in High Halstow, Hoo. You just take the 191 from Chatham Pentagon and it stops just down the road from the hall.
