Bus stop Consultations

Please see below for current bus stop consultations:

MIERSCOURT ROAD/ TYLER DRIVE AREA RAINHAM

Tyler Drive/Thrale Way

We would like to let you know that Medway Council is planning to improve accessibility at a bus stop in Tyler Drive property and invite your feedback on the proposals. This as a result of representation made by the bus operator which regularly faces issues in serving the stops on route.

It is intended to provide a 15 metre bus stop clearway in Tyler Drive to help users – especially those with mobility difficulties – to get on and off the bus.  The yellow bus stop clearway would be provided to ensure the bus can pull up at the bus stop, and the stop is kept clear. The change at this stop has been designed to ensure the minimum possible impact on on-street parking provision. A bus stop clearway means that no parking or waiting is permitted in the bus stop at any time.

Also Double Yellow Lines corner protection is proposed around the Thrale Way junction to ensure all vehicles can pull in and out safely with better visibility.
