Teacher Recruitment Open Day 2009

Are you in your last year of teacher training and looking for a job for September 2009?

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for your first teaching post?

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge?

Then this is the event for you...

Medway Secondary schools will be manning their own stands where there will be an opportunity to talk to Head teachers, find out more about specific schools and career opportunities within those schools.At last years event a number of secondary students found their first teaching post.

There will also be Head teachers from various Medway Primary schools for you to talk to and the opportunity to participate in mock interviews

Other exhibitors include housing agencies, teaching unions and information about teaching and living in Medway from the Teacher Recruitment Team.

Seminars will be held through the afternoon including:-

Medway NQT Induction        Medway Induction Manager

Life as an NQT                      Current secondary and primary NQTs

Drop in anytime between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm and stay as long as you like!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the area, the Corn Exchange is situated in Rochester High Street so this would be a perfect opportunity to explore the local area and visitor attractions!
