Relive the days of steam on the River Medway
The last coal-fired paddle steamer remaining in service in Britain operates regular afternoon and full-day sightseeing cruises, with evening cruises during the summer. You can soak up the atmosphere on deck and enjoy a quiet drink or snack in the buffet and bar.
The Kingswear Castle operates between Rochester Pier and the Historic Dockyard, with longer cruises on the rivers Medway and Thames.
For an up-to-date timetable of sailings and information about private charters, visit the Kingswear Castle website (www.pskc.freeserve.co.uk).
