Medway has a selection of general markets offering something for everyone: variety, value for money, friendly service, a real atmosphere and much more.

Gillingham
Gillingham High Street - every Monday and Saturday, 8am to 5pm.

Rochester
Corporation Street car park - every third Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm.

Strood
Commercial Road car park - every Tuesday and Saturday, 8am to 3pm.

Market stalls
The general markets at Gillingham, Strood and Rochester town centres are operated by Medway Council, who can be contacted on 01634 338155 to find out more.

Rochester's farmers market
Rochester Farmers' Market allows local farmers and producers to sell directly to their customers. A farmers' market is a chance to buy fresh, quality produce at a competitive price, with seasonal organic and non-organic produce on sale directly from the producer. To learn more about sustainable food production go to Local Agenda 21. Unless otherwise stated the Rochester Farmers’ Market is held at Corporation Street car park from 9am until 1pm on the third Sunday of each month.
