Medway Council's award-winning Visitor Information Centre in Rochester is the ideal first port of call for visitors to the area. Whether you are planning a day trip or short-break in Medway, a warm welcome awaits you. As well as providing a professional and friendly service, visitors will find all the reference material anyone could wish for, with maps, booklets and leaflets to introduce each attraction and a wide selection of souvenirs from which to choose. Other centre facilities include Le Cafe, with inside and outside seating areas where visitors can buy hot and cold refreshments, an art gallery on the first floor to browse around and a theatre-style auditorium that seats 96 people. The centre is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm and Sunday, 10.30am to 5pm.
