Disabled person's parking bay
The criteria for obtaining a disabled person's parking bay are
that the applicant:
- should be a registered disabled person and have been offered or
be getting Mobility Allowance or the higher rate of the mobility
component of the Disability Living
Allowance;
- must be the owner and driver of the vehicle which would use the
bay, other than in exceptional circumstances, which would be where
the sole driver was also the primary carer and living at the same
address;
- does not have a garage, driveway, hard-standing or garage
nearby;
- sends the council a cheque or postal order for £36, made
payable to Medway Council, with the application form below, to
cover administration costs (this will not be cashed until
confirmation of bay has been sent and will be returned if the bay
is refused).
Please note that any vehicle displaying a blue badge can park within the bay.
