Parking permits

From 1 April 2013, the cost of some parking permits will increase. Please contact Parking Services using the contact details at the bottom of this page for further information.

Parking permits are issued to both residents and businesses whose property is within a designated parking permit area. A parking permit is only valid if the vehicle is parked within a permit bay and does not give the right to park in any parking place. Permits can be obtained either in person at:

The Parking Office
Annexe B
Civic Centre
Strood
Kent ME2 2AU

or through the post from the address below. Once a permit has been issued, no refund can be given.

Parking Office opening hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday 8am-5.15pm;
  • Friday 8am-5pm.

Medway Council is responsible for issuing the permits and vouchers listed below.
