Pavement salting
No pavements are designated as routes for normal precautionary
salting. However, during times of snow or ice emergency,
salting is undertaken on certain prioritised pavements with high
pedestrian volumes such as town centres, main car parks, hospitals
and medical centres.
A list of footway priorities are listed below. Click on the pdf
to view the map.
