Medway Big Splash is a mass participation event based around aquatics and water sports in a weekend long programme of free activities. |
From taster sessions, inflatable pool parties and our swimathon style challenge, the programme offers something for all the family. |
The Medway Big Splash Swim Challenge Strood Sports Centre, Sunday 21 January 2018, 1pm - 6pm
Our swim challenge is now solely working with our charity partner Medway NHS Foundation Trust for this swimathon style event. All levels of fitness, all abilities and all ages are catered for. |
You can choose to take on one of the following challenges:
Individual Challenges: 50m (2 lengths), 1k (40 lengths), 1.5k (60 lengths), 2k (80 lengths).
Team challenges: 2k (80 lengths) or 5k (200 lengths) for up to 4 participants. Fees will be £15 adults, £10 juniors or you will receive a sponsorship form to raise the equivalent or more to enter. |
The swim challenge is open to all ages who can safely swim 25 metres.
All participants must have an adult present with them to help sign off each length. |
Please note that upon completion of this registration from your details will be sent directly to Medway NHS Foundation Trust, who will then send across your fundraising pack.

Can you go the distance? This event will give you the opportunity to achieve that coveted distance swimming award. Distances available are: 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1000m and The Medway Big Splash mile of 64 lengths. |
Entrants must be able to swim at least 100m comfortably to enter and you will need to be accompanied by a lane counter. |
