Eating the right foods and being active helps children grow into healthy adults.

We have a range of healthy lifestyle programmes to suit all families. Whether your little one is still in nappies or school aged. Take a look at the list below to find the right programme for you.

Little Chefs, for 2 to 4 year olds

Through cookery, craft and story time children find out where food comes from, how it grows and why we need to eat a variety of foods to stay healthy.

Adults can try out new kitchen skills and little ones will love helping out.

Course dates:

  • 13 January 2021, 10.30am to 11.30am
  • 14 January 2021, 10.30am to 11.30am

TriMini, for 5 to 7 year olds

TriMini is for families who want to make healthy changes to their lifestyle. It offers a mix of fun, interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Course date:

  • 11 January 2021, 4.30pm to 6pm

Tri Cookery, for 5 to 17 year olds

Tri Cookery helps school children learn new cookery skills, find out why it’s important to eat a balanced diet and try out some tasty, healthy recipes.

This free six-week course runs during term time across Medway. It is suitable for families with children aged 5 to 17 years.

Course date:

  • 12 January 2021, 5pm to 6.30pm

TriClub, for 8 to 12 year olds

Tri Club gives children the tools to make healthy choices around what they eat and portion sizes. Children will love our fun activity sessions and parents can learn how to make healthier choices at home.

Sessions run twice a week.

Fitfix, for 13 to 17 year olds

Fitfix is our lifestyle programme for teenagers who want to maintain a healthier weight.

In this 12 week course, we support young people to break unhealthy food and drink habits and to understand why healthy foods are important. Young people take part in fun fitness sessions and feel motivated to be more active.

Throughout the course, we focus on building up young people’s confidence. Sessions include advice on:

  • wellbeing
  • cookery
  • group exercises
  • personal training
