Gun Wharf reception closure
As part of our planned Gun Wharf improvement project, our reception desk will be closed to the general public from Monday 18 May 2026.
We’re providing alternative venues for the following services during this time:

Adult social care appointments
From Monday 18 May, you can book an adult social care appointment at the Compass Centre:

To book an appointment, call 01634 334 466.
Walk-ins will not be accepted.
If you're deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind, we're offering drop-in sessions at the Compass Centre every Tuesday from 1pm to 4.30pm.
Homelessness services appointments
From Monday 18 May, if you're experiencing or concerned about homelessness, you can book a housing appointment at Kingsley House:

You can book an appointment with the team by calling directly, or going to Kingsley House in-person to arrange an appointment.
To book an appointment, call 01634 333 600 (or freephone 0808 1641 444).
The office at Kingsley House is open from 10am until 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Due to high demand there may not be available appointments on the day.
Medway Family Court access
If you're unsure how to access the Medway Family Court, use the following instructions starting at the Gun Wharf entrance.
- Walk back out towards Dock Road and turn right, keeping the car park to your right.
- At the end of the car park, turn right just before the church.
- After the first set of stairs, take the path to the right and follow the gravel path around to the Medway Family Court entrance.
The Medway Family Court is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
