How we use your data

Why we use your data

The child-friendly Medway postcard draw at Rapture Gaming Festival will be used to get young people’s ideas and feedback on how we can make Medway a more child-friendly place. Young people may also provide feedback about things they like or do not like in Medway. These ideas will be used to inform the child-friendly Medway team on how we can improve Medway for young people.

Those that choose to opt-in for future engagement will be contacted by email. This will keep children, young people and families informed about upcoming opportunities and contests for child-friendly Medway.

To opt-in, young people aged 13 and older, or parents or guardians of those under 13, must consent to being contacted in the future.

The data collected on the postcards will be used to contact the winner of the Nintendo Switch postcard draw, which will be selected by being hand drawn from a Child-Friendly Medway Post-box with all entry cards. The card selected will be drawn at 4pm on Sunday 4 July at the event venue, Chatham Dockyard.

You or your parent or guardian have given consent for Medway Council to use your data for the above purposes.
