About Supported Lodgings
Supported Lodgings aims to give vulnerable young people, aged between 16 and 25 years old a safe and secure place to live as they prepare for independent living.
Most young people on the scheme are currently being looked after or have been looked after by children’s services and are in the process of leaving the care system. This can be children or young people experiencing family breakdown who need temporary accommodation, while we work with their family to resolve the situation and help their return home.
In a supported lodgings home, the young person will get family-based support and advice to get education, employment or training as well as develop the confidence and skills to live independently.
