Our libraries and community hubs are open.
In line with the latest government guidelines, you are no longer required to wear face coverings or observe social distancing in council-run facilities. However, we appreciate that you may wish to continue to wear face coverings when visiting for your own safety - and you're welcome to do so.
The government expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded areas such as public transport.
For your safety, we'll be maintaining enhanced cleaning in all our facilities and will continue to provide hand sanitisers for your use when visiting.
You'll be able to sign into our buildings using the QR code for track and trace although this is no longer a legal requirement.

You need to make an appointment to view original archive material and use microfilm or fiche readers at Medway Archives Centre. We are now accepting drop-in visits for published materials and photographs as long as there is space in the search room.
