Licensing Act 2003 - Section 51 (Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificate) Regulations 2005 - Regulation 38

Review of Premises Licence Royal George, 380 High Street, Chatham, Kent ME4 4NP.

In accordance with the above legislation, Medway Council has received a request from Kent Police to review the Premises Licence in respect of Royal George Public House, 380 High Street, Chatham, Kent ME4 4NP.

The grounds for requesting a review are based on the failure to promote the prevention of crime and disorder objective.

The application and grounds for review may be inspected at the Licensing Unit, Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TR (please telephone Medway 306000 to make an appointment to view the application), together with the licensing register pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003.

Should you wish to make a representation to the Council in relation to the Application for Review, you should do so in writing to Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham Kent, ME4 4TR or by sending an email to licensing@medway.gov.uk no later than 19 March 2014

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.  Any person who makes a false statement is liable on summary conviction for the offence to a maximum fine of £5000.
