Education and employment support
Information, advice and guidance
Our information, advice and guidance service helps young people get a form of further education. This could be at school, college or work.
We support 16 and 17 year olds in Medway who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). This can be face to face, by phone or online.
This support includes:
- career advice
- job search and application help
- CV and interview skills
- finding and applying for an apprenticeship
- applying for college or sixth form
- finding a training course
We can help you plan your career goals and find the right opportunity for you. We will also keep in touch to make sure you’re happy in your new course, apprenticeship or job.
Tell us where you are now
Every year we collect information on the education and work choices of 16 and 17 year olds living in Medway. We must keep a record of what you are doing and report it to the government. This helps us find out if you need support.
Be yourself is a free employability programme for young people ages 16 to 21 (up to 25 with additional needs) who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
It offers free training opportunities, CV and job hunting support. For more information visit our Be yourself page.
