Local Area Written Statement of Action - April 2019
Medway Council and the Medway Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have published and are now implementing a written statement of improvement for the provision of services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25.
The statement has been produced following an Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission(CQC) SEND local area inspection in Medway in December 2018 which highlighted a number of areas to be addressed and we are committed to implementing these in collaboration with all Medway providers, the children and young people, their families and carers.
This written statement of action forms the basis of an improvement plan and documents the outcomes that we, as a local area, are working towards and the actions we are taking in response to published inspection outcome letter.
