Medway Youth Service has set up a range of group activities for young people aged 11 to 18 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs).

They will be running sessions using a range of resources. You can access these using video chats with youth workers using Zoom.

Each session will last between 30 to 40 minutes and can be accessed on phones, tablets or computers.

How to access sessions

To get access download the Zoom App online, the Play Store or app store on your device or desktop. Or select the option to use the web version instead.

Once you have agreed the terms and conditions, you can join chats at the advertised times. We will have two youth workers to lead each session. They will aim to be on the app 5 minutes before they start.

Links will only work at the times advertised

Use headphones when in video sessions. If the call is very busy the youth workers might decide to mute people’s microphones so people can still hear the session. You can still ask questions and talk using the chat facility. If you are muted and want to talk, the app has a ‘reactions’ feature that lets you raise a hand to let the youth worker know you want to speak.

If you are have trouble accessing or have any questions about the program, email youth.enquiries@medway.gov.uk.
