How the Medway Marmot Place Partnership operates
Leaders across Medway are joining forces to improve the health and wellbeing of residents.
This is about continuing the good work that's already happening by building on existing initiatives and finding innovative solutions where needed.
We'll do this by working together on the 8 Marmot Principles. To put these principles in place, we need strong teamwork and a good system for making decisions.
There will be 2 groups overseeing this work.
Medway Marmot advisory group
This advisory group includes key leaders across a variety of sectors.
The advisory group reports to Medway Joint Health and Wellbeing Board.
The advisory group meets quarterly and aims to:

- support health equity and the building blocks of health within their organisations
- represent their organisations and ensure information and feedback is shared between the group and their organisation
- lead on agreed actions within their organisation and help make sure they're delivered.
