The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) will now consider the views put forward.

Local consultation
Medway and Kent councils conducted a public and stakeholder engagement exercise before submitting their final proposals to government in November 2025.
This was to find out what's important to people living, working and studying in Kent regarding the reorganisation of our councils.
