With the next half term around the corner, we are encouraging children to get creative during the break with exciting workshops.

Come along to Medway’s libraires to craft an African Drum this half term. This fun, crafty and educational workshop is available for 4 to 10-year-olds and will be available across Medway.

The library-run workshops for children and young people across Medway support our ambition to become a Child-Friendly City, putting children and young people at the heart of everything we do.

This workshop is free to attend, but booking is essential. Have fun making African drums at:

  • Chatham Library, Community Hub Chatham - Tuesday, 26 October, 3 - 3:30pm
  • Hoo Library - Tuesday, 26 October, 3 - 3:30pm
  • Gillingham Library, Community Hub Gillingham - Thursday, 28 October, 3 - 3:30pm
  • Lordswood Library - Thursday, 28 October, 2 - 2:30pm
  • Twydall Library, Community Hub Twydall - Friday, 29 October, 2:30 - 3pm
  • Wigmore Library, Community Hub Wigmore - Saturday, 30 October, 10.30 - 11am
