UPDATED 9.25am: Find out what's reopened following Storm Eunice

Good morning and happy Saturday,

Storm Eunice has now passed and although there isn't currently a weather warning in place in Medway, there is a yellow warning for wind in other parts of Kent, particularly coastal. So please still take care if you are planning on travelling and check for travel updates before starting your journey.

Fallen trees

Our teams are back on the ground today continuing to respond to reports of fallen trees – we received more than 200 reports yesterday (18 Feb). They will continue to prioritise those causing an obstruction or hazard, so please bear with them.

Report a fallen tree: If you spot any fallen trees, report them to us by calling 01634 333333, during normal working hours, or 01634 304400 in an emergency.

Household waste and recycling centres

All three of our household waste and recycling centres (HWRC) have reopened today (Sat, 19 Feb) - don’t forget you need to book!

COVID testing

The COVID-19 symptom-free testing sites have reopened.

PCR testing sites remain closed.

Other sites...

All of our libraries and community hubs are open as normal.

Thank you again to all our teams helping with the clear up from the storm, and of course not forgetting our waste collection crews who did a magnificent job yesterday continuing their rounds.

Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe.
