A green-fingered Rainham resident will be able to keep her garden looking great after winning a £75 Dobbies voucher, a trophy and annual winner’s shield.
Anne won our Medway Blossoms garden competition after sending in a picture of her garden to the council’s Environmental Engagement Team. Her front garden features lots of colourful flowers, making it a haven for local wildlife and visibly attractive.
Aleksandra, from Princes Park, came second in the competition and Louise, from Chatham, claimed third prize. They won £50 and £25 of Dobbies vouchers and received a winner’s trophy.
Cllr Gary Hackwell, Portfolio Holder for Business Management, said: “Anne was a worthy winner of our Medway Blossoms competition. She has been able to light up her street in Rainham with her flowers and beautiful display of vibrant colour. Well done to the competition winners and to everyone who spends a lot of time keeping their garden maintained and inspiring.”
