This weekend Medway Park will host an international trampoline competition, welcoming more than 400 competitors from across the globe.

This year the Jumpers Rebound Centre and The David Ward-Hunt Cup, an Internationally recognised Trampoline, DMT (double mini trampoline) and Synchro competition, will take place in Gillingham and tickets are still available.

This year’s competition will see a number of gymnasts, including Olympic level competitors, from countries including Brazil, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Belgium and more.

The David Ward Hunt Cup takes place in memory of trampoline legend, David Ward-Hunt, from Great Britain and this will be the first time that the competition has come to Medway.

Cllr Howard Doe, Deputy Leader of Medway Council and Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: “I’m so pleased that Medway Park will welcome sport competitors from across the globe to showcase their skills. It’s great news that Medway residents will be able to enjoy watching this incredible sport and Olympic level competitors on their doorstep. I would encourage residents to find out more about the competition and grab a ticket while they still can.”
