Keeping Medway clean and green
Cllr Rupert Turpin, Medway Council’s Portfolio Holder covering Community Wardens, said: “Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Medway Blossoms competition. We’re pleased to be able to recognise all the hard work residents put in to maintain their front gardens. We work hard all year round to keep Medway clean and green and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who takes part in community litter picks with our wardens and all of the residents who take pride in where they live. Together we can keep Medway clean and tidy.”
Nice to be recognised
Mr Hodges said: “I’m really chuffed. Many of my neighbours comment on my garden but it’s nice for it to be recognized by the Medway Council Warden Service, thank you.”
