If you’re one of the 1,800 people who have booked to visit either Capstone or Hoath Way household waste and recycling centres, please don’t forget to take your booking reference and gloves with you!

Here's our top ‘tips’ on what to do.

Please arrive within your allocated time slot - not before, not after. This will be either any time between 10am and 2pm or between 3pm and 7pm. Please stagger your visit as the centres are likely to be very busy when they first open at 10am.

As long as you arrive at the site between your allocated time slot (even if there may be a slight queue to gain access) our staff will be mindful and allow you access.

On arrival you’ll be asked to show your booking reference (on your phone or print out) – but please keep your window shut to help protect you and our staff. Please wear your gloves at all times while on site (any type or material).

Unfortunately during this time, for everyone’s safety, our staff won’t be able to help lift any items with you. You can bring someone else (just 1 person) from your household if you need any help with heavy/bulky items.

We’ve also put our own social distancing measures in place to further help protect you – every other parking bay has been blocked off. We’re also limiting the number of vehicles on site at any given time, so please do bear with us and the staff on site if there is a slight queue – all of this has been put in place for your safety.

If you haven’t already booked your appointment to visit either our Capstone or Hoath Way household waste and recycling centres – new appointments are opening up every day – you will be turned away if you do not have a pre-booked slot.

Thanks again and happy recycling!
