Chatham Waterfront Bus Station

With its modern, coherent design, Chatham Waterfront Bus Station presents a welcoming reception to the bustling heart of Medway.

Bus services run from the station seven days a week serving destinations across Medway and Kent.

There are four platforms labelled A, B, C and D, each with a number of individual stops on them. Every stop has an electronic display showing timetabled information and also real time information for services.

For information on bus services visit the Travel Information Centre which is located on Platform A. It is open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Changes to bus ticket sales

We were advised by Arriva that as of 26 May 2017 they will no longer be selling tickets for their services from the Chatham Waterfront Bus Station Information Centre.

Following discussions with Arriva a weekly discounted season ticket of £13.30 will be available to Medway Youth Card holders via Arriva’s M Ticket app.

In order to get the discount Medway Youth Pass holders will need to visit the Travel Information Centre in Chatham Waterfront Bus Station showing their pass. A promotional code will be issued by the Information Centre staff.

Then pass holders will need to go on to the Arriva M Ticket app and follow this process to complete the transaction.

Adult daily tickets and weekly or monthly season tickets can be purchased from the bus drivers.

In addition adult weekly/monthly season tickets can be purchased online or at shops which have Paypoint or Payzone machines.

If you have any further questions about purchasing tickets you are advised to contact Arriva on 0844 800 4411 or visit the Arriva website.
