Medway Council, supported by the Royal School of Military Engineering, is hosting Armed Forces Day.

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets. 

Activities on offer

This free family event will host a range of activities for all ages, including:  

  • have-a-go activities
  • concerts
  • drive-a-digger
  • military obstacle course
  • helicopters
  • a military parade
  • arena displays
  • a funfair and much more*

*Please note, the funfair starts on Friday 28 June from 5pm to 9pm. Rides are £1. Normal prices apply on Saturday, 29 June.

Getting to Armed Forces Day

There is no onsite parking at this event. Blue badge parking can be found at Brompton Road.

A Park & Ride will operate from Chatham Dockyard (follow brown anchor signs, then yellow directional signage). £1 per return. Under 16s go free.
