Get involved

To celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June, we’d love you to get involved in the virtual salute for the British Armed Forces community. This is to celebrate their hard work, dedication and efforts to keep us safe.

To join in, simply send or tag us in a photo or video of you or your friends saluting and use #SaluteOurForces.

Make sure you are following our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date.

As we show our support for #ArmedForcesDay, Council Leader, Councillor Alan Jarrett has come together with the new Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, The Lady Colgrain to record a video message of thanks to our armed forces and has important contributions from the Commanding Officer of HMS Medway and the Commanding Officer of the Royal Engineers at Brompton.

Read the Armed Forces Day message from the council leader, councillor Alan Jarrett.
