Description

Bipolar UK support groups are free to attend and are open to all individuals affected by bipolar including those with a diagnosis, those pre-diagnosis, their family members, friends and carers.

You do not need a referral and you don't have to let us know you're coming - just turn up. 

Our support groups are intended for people aged 18 and above.

Bipolar support groups offer:

  • regular (usually monthly) meetings
  • friendly, confidential and accepting environment
  • peer support through group discussion
  • useful information
  • social activities
  • guidance on managing mood swings

At a support group you can:

  • join in and gain more confidence
  • get to know yourself better
  • make new friends
  • learn to manage mood swings
  • get practical advice

The nearest Bipolar support group to Medway is the Maidstone Group, which meets on the 2nd Monday of each month from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The group meets at Maidstone Community Support Centre: 39-48 Marsham St, Maidstone, ME14 1HH.
