Change your bank details
You can change the Direct Debit you already have with us by setting up a new Direct Debit instruction.
Any new instruction from you will cancel the existing one we hold.
You'll need to do this more than 5 working days before payment is due or we could take the payment from your old bank account.
You can also change the date your Direct Debit is taken on by setting up a new instruction.
After you set the Direct Debit up we’ll send you a bill to confirm your instalment amounts and dates.
Choose paperless billing to be sent an email notification when you can view your bill with a My Council Tax Online account, instead of receiving it by post.
If you want to cancel your Direct Debit, contact your bank and cancel it directly with them.
