Limehouse Landing

Limehouse Landing is a river access point for boats and ships. The platform has been installed at Rochester Riverside as part of our regeneration scheme.

Limehouse Landing is situated behind Rochester train station, off Cory's Road. You can find the platform using signs from the train station.

Jetstream Tours

Jetstream Tours operate the ‘Cruiser’ ship. This carries up to 150 passengers for river tours and starts at Limehouse Landing.

When did Limehouse Landing open

Limehouse Landing opened on Saturday 3 May 2025 during the Rochester Sweeps Festival. Around 1,000 visitors enjoyed the first boat sailings from Limehouse Landing during the 3-day festival.

The 1-hour return trips took place from Limehouse Landing to Upnor. This gave visitors the chance to:

  • learn about the history of the river
  • pass the submarine at Strood
  • travel past Rochester Bridge
  • view the ships at Chatham Dockyard.
