Parents and carers across Medway are being reminded that the deadline for secondary school applications for September 2026 admissions is midnight this Friday (31 October).
Medway children and their families are encouraged to use all six preferences when completing their application form.
You can complete your child’s application online on our website, and paper applications can be collected from our Gun Wharf office in Chatham.
Secondary school offers will be sent out to parents and carers on National Offer Day next year, on Monday, 2 March 2026.
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) the process for transferring to secondary schools is different, and this Friday’s (31 October) deadline does not apply. You can find out more about the process for children with an EHCP on our website.
