Bus travel will be completely free in Medway for four days this December, starting this Saturday (13 December).
Two free bus weekends will be taking place, running on:
- Saturday, 13 December,
- Sunday 14 December,
- Saturday, 20 December,
- Sunday 21 December.
During these weekends you will be able to board any local bus service within Medway, or starting in Medway, for free until the last bus of the day. Journeys around Medway, and across the Medway boundary will be free, but passengers would need to pay normal fares back from Kent. The free bus weekends are funded by the government, as part of Medway Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan.
